Welcome note

Welcome
 to my reflection blog!
Thanks for visiting.

My hope is that my reflections and posts on here will always reflect the precious redemption that Christ Jesus paid for me at a very costly price. I hope that you will be encouraged and challenged by my reflections, and inspired to pick up the Bible and hear what God has to say to you.

My husband and I do have a ministry blog, which you can visit at www.ravengdl.blogspot.com
But, I suddenly had this urge to have my own personal blog to put down in writing (online) my reflections and things I want to share with others (even to those I don’t know!). This urge most likely stemmed from currently having a little bit more of time to do whatever (I have about 2 more months of freedom from medical school demands).  So, we'll see how much sharing I can do once I start my 3rd year of medical school this coming January.
My hope is that my writings would lead readers and blog visitors to the Lord Jesus – the redeemer of my life, the Savior of all, actually.  In all honesty, howeever, the Bible (God’s inspired Word) is more than enough to lead anybody to the One and Only way to the Father in peace – through the Christ Jesus. This online site is just stuff from me, a redeemed soul, reflecting on the journey to God’s Kingdom while on earth, working out salvation and doing what He requires and calls each believer to do as our reasonable service to the Christ King.
I would like to push you to investigate the Word (the Bible), and to show yourselves approved by God (2 Timothy 2:15).  Do not just merely read books by authors who claim to be Christians or people's blogs to get your spiritual sustenance.  God's love letter to us, the guide to life everlasting with Him in peace and joy, is readily available to us in the form of the Bible.  At least as of right now we have liberty to open that precious treasure.  GO and read that much more than anything else, and DO what it says.

I do welcome any godly wisdom, rebuke, correction, and encouragement you may have.  Granted, I still have the responsibility to check that what you share with me through this blog aligns with God's Word.

I'd like to share with you this song "You Are My Passion" by a band called Jesus Culture. The Lord Jesus has become the passion in my life.  When I play this song on my guitar, I like to change the part of the song where it says I live to know You more to I live to make You (Jesus) known, after singing the whole song one time.

Well, I hope these reflection posts will encourage and challenge you to keep walking in faith and working out salvation that only God can give through repentance and faith in Christ Jesus.
